Dubai-headquartered online incubator and accelerator announced the launch of a new funding round aimed at supporting female entrepreneurs across the UAE on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day 2024.

The initiative is aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among Emirati women and other female leaders in the region.

The funding round is specifically crafted to assist female-led startups in the UAE by helping them overcome financial obstacles and expand their businesses.

“We are proud to launch this funding round in honour of Emirati Women’s Day, a day that showcases the remarkable achievements of women in our country,” said Hesham Zreik, CEO of FasterCapital.

“Through this support, we aim to empower the upcoming generation of female leaders who will drive the UAE’s economic and social progress forward,” Zreik said.

Applications for this funding opportunity will be open from August 28 till September 30, 2024, FasterCapital said in a media release.

Startups selected for the programme will receive financial and legal assistance, mentorship, networking opportunities, and strategic resources designed to boost their growth and impact.

“This initiative underscores our strong belief that Emirati women are instrumental in shaping the future,” said Sonia Judith, Program Manager at FasterCapital.

“We are committed to equipping them with the tools and support necessary to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape,” she said.
