Making History: Global Beauty Authority, Shalini Vadhera and Former Access Hollywood Host Tony Potts, on a Mission to Merge Ancient Wisdom, Science and Deep Space Ready Set Jet Is Shattering the Ultimate Glass Ceiling

[San Diego, CA — Date] — Skincare has officially entered its space era.

Ready Set Jet, the visionary beauty meets female founded wellness brand founded by international beauty authority Shalini Vadhera, just became the first certified skincare and makeup brand in the world approved for space travel and even more groundbreaking the first female founded and south Asian brand in the world certified for space.

This historic moment launches the brand into orbit — literally — lifting off into space on the Axiom4 Space Mission aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket on June 10th 2025 where Ready Set Jet’s hero formulas will experience microgravity and radiation for the 14 day research mission “We’ve always formulated for movement — now we’re taking off into the next frontier,” says Vadhera. “This isn’t just a glow-up. It’s a lift-off.”

The brand’s hero products — already known for being travel-friendly, clean, and high performance — will be tested for stability, hydration, barrier repair, and skin-nervous system support under space conditions like radiation, zero gravity, and extreme dehydration through several upcoming global space partnerships and additional research missions.

SKINCARE FOR WOMEN WHO MOVE FAST — ON EARTH AND IN ORBIT

Ready Set Jet is powered by biotechnologically enhanced, multifunctional formulas that work with the body’s natural rhythm and real-world stressors. Think:

    • Proprietary Marine Extracts, a marine extract blend that shields the skin barrier from inflammation and oxidative stress
    • Neurocosmetic adaptogens, like turmeric and fermented rice, to soothe stress-reactive skin and support the skin-brain connection (coming soon)
    • Space-inspired hydration systems, tested for efficacy under high stress and climate change conditions
    • Sensorial design, created to anchor self-care through shape, texture, and routine — even in zero gravity

This mission isn’t just about making history—it’s about proving performance, said Vadhera. “Space is one of the harshest environments imaginable: no gravity, no atmospheric protection, extreme radiation and temperature shifts. If Ready Set Jet’s skincare can protect the skin there, imagine what it can do here. These formulas are being tested in the most extreme conditions to validate what consumers on Earth truly need—reliable, effective, and future-forward skincare that goes beyond the surface and helps support fast paced lifestyles.”

JOINING THE MISSION: TONY POTTS, MEDIA & BUSINESS TRAILBLAZER

Documenting the mission is longtime entertainment journalist, VC Founder, and former Access Hollywood host Tony Potts, who spent 25 years in the makeup chair experiencing firsthand how the demands of media, pressure, international travel and high-definition visibility impacted skin and mental wellness.

“I’ve seen what daily stress, lights, and long-haul travel can do to the skin,” says Potts, who has more than 3M frequent flier miles, “What we’re doing at Ready Set Jet is going far beyond beauty. It’s pushing limits. It’s science. It’s personal. It’s personal care and wellness”

A WOMAN WHO LAUNCHED A GLOBAL MOVEMENT

At the helm is founder Shalini Vadhera, a visionary beauty expert with over 20 years of global experience. A best-selling author (Passport to Beauty), media personality, and serial entrepreneur, The first South Asian woman to break into mainstream beauty media, she’s the recipient of the Mahatma Gandhi Award at the UK House of Lords, the Jewel of India Award from the Prime Minister’s Office, and has created award-winning products within her own house of brands and for Hollywood studios, lifestyle companies, and top influencers selling in retailers like Sephora, QVC, Nordstrom, CVS and more.

With Ready Set Jet, she is pioneering the next frontier of beauty — a brand born of ritual, driven by science, and ready for liftoff.

SPACE + SKINCARE: A NEW CATEGORY IS BORN

This mission marks a turning point in the convergence of biotechnology, space science, and beauty wellness. With increasing demand for climate-adaptive, high-performance skincare, Ready Set Jet is positioning itself as a category-defining leader in extreme environment beauty innovation taking over 20 years of R&D on global beauty rituals and ancient wisdom, marrying it with futuristic innovation and now validating it in space.

    The Certification Process:

To earn the “Certified and Approved for Space Travel” designation, Ready Set Jet’s products underwent extensive testing by aerospace engineers and certified spaceflight operations experts. Evaluations included material safety, spacecraft compatibility, chemical stability, resistance to radiation and vibration, and structural integrity during launch. The brand’s solid-state beauty batons passed every benchmark required for human-rated payloads and are officially certified in the AstroCertify database and on the Axiom-4 mission manifest.

Formulated for extreme conditions—both in orbit and on Earth—Ready Set Jet’s waterless, anhydrous batons are formulated by Shalini in collaboration with top cosmetic chemists. Each baton features cutting-edge complexes like HydroLock Marine Matrix™, Resilience Shield Technology™, and Silk-Blur Technology™ that hydrate, soothe, and protect the skin in harsh environments. Their Color + Care Complex™ combines skin-nourishing ceramides with buildable pigment for lips and cheeks, delivering performance and portability in one sleek, refrigeration-free package.

Following the mission, flown batons will be analyzed to assess ingredient and packaging integrity post-spaceflight. These units will be designated Certified Space-Flown Items, with corresponding SKUs receiving the official Space-Certified™ label.

Ready Set Jet’s future plans include deep research on anti-aging and longevity on the science and insights space provides.

    The Limited Edition Space Box

To celebrate this historic mission, Ready Set Jet has partnered with aerospace innovator Blackstar Orbital to launch a limited-edition collector’s Space Box, bringing together beauty, biotechnology, and spaceflight in a way the world has never seen.

This exclusive drop features a curated collection of Ready Set Jet’s certified-for-space hero products—including the iconic Cleanse & Prime, Hydrate & Glow, and Sculpt & Shine Beauty Batons and a capsule Add On in their best selling Lip and Cheek Color Collection —each proven to perform in extreme environments and now validated for space travel.

Housed in a sleek box inspired by aerospace engineering and luxury beauty design, every kit includes blockchain-based authentication, ensuring provenance, exclusivity, and collectibility. Each Space Box also unlocks access to a one-of-a-kind immersive space experience, bringing consumers closer to the cosmos while redefining self-care on and off the planet.

Ready Set Jet is powered by a global network of dynamic female investors, scientists, and engineers committed to advancing beauty, biotech, and wellbeing.

Key collaborators include AstroCertify, Axiom Space, Herndon Solutions Group, Black Star Orbital, and Space Angel (Australia).  The brand is bridging ancient beauty wisdom with futuristic technology — launching not just a product, but a paradigm shift and future focus on space science, longevity and wellness .

    THE RITUAL, REIMAGINED

From the packaging (designed to simulate travel, anticipation, and visual therapy) to the formulas, every Ready Set Jet product is a mini-voyage — a moment of calm, empowerment, and radiant self-connection.

And now? Those rituals are going interstellar.
